A wonderfully unusual vintage sterling silver ring with an almost talismanic presence. The elongated oval setting is crowned with a deep green cabochon, likely chrysoprase, balanced by a rich reddish-brown stone that resembles carnelian and a polished black cabochon at the centre, likely hematite. Sparkling marcasites frame the composition, lending the piece a subtle glimmer and an Art Deco-inspired character.
The arrangement of stones creates a striking balance of colour and form, with the green and rust-red ends echoing one another around the raised black centre. Though vintage in spirit, the design feels sculptural and modern on the hand.
