This vintage sterling silver necklace features a classic anchor or mariner link design, inspired by the chains traditionally used with nautical anchors. Each elongated link has a distinctive bar through its centre, connected by smaller curved links to create a flexible, nicely articulated chain.
 
At 2.2mm wide, it has enough presence to wear on its own while remaining slim enough to pair with many pendants. The polished silver surfaces catch the light particularly nicely along the flattened links.
 
The necklace measures 18 inches long and closes with a traditional spring ring clasp. A versatile vintage sterling chain with a clean, slightly nautical look.
