A dramatic pair of vintage sterling silver drop earrings combining luminous pearls with sharply faceted black stones.
 
Each earring centres on a large approximately 10 mm pearl, held within a smooth sterling silver setting. Above the pearl is an elongated open scroll motif with curled terminals, while below hangs a faceted black stone in an angular geometric setting. The contrast between the softly rounded pearl, dark faceted stone and scrolling silverwork gives these a distinctive statement look.
 
Measuring approximately 38.5 mm long excluding the ear wires, they have plenty of movement without being exceptionally heavy. The pair weighs approximately 6.4 grams in total.
