Vintage 10K Gold Love Knot Stud Earrings · Open Centre Knot

A pair of vintage 10K yellow gold stud earrings in a classic love-knot design. Each earring is formed from interwoven rounded gold loops that sweep around an open centre, creating a dimensional knot approximately 10.85 mm across and 4.15 mm thick.
 
The polished tubular-style loops give the earrings quite a bit of visual volume for their weight, while the open centre keeps the design light. The knot is nicely three-dimensional rather than a flat stamped design.
 
The pair weighs 2 grams and the gold has been tested as 10K. No hallmark is visible.
 
This style was particularly popular during the later 20th century, and we would place these around the 1980s–1990s.
