Vintage Sterling Silver Turquoise Oval Cabochon Statement Ring

A striking vintage sterling silver ring featuring a long, smooth turquoise-coloured cabochon in a wonderfully sculptural setting.
 
The elongated oval stone measures approximately 19.65 x 7 mm and has a beautiful vivid blue-green colour. It sits high above the finger in an unusual open silver setting with sweeping, curved supports surrounding the stone. From the side, the setting has an almost architectural quality that gives this ring plenty of character.
 
The inside of the band is stamped 925 for sterling silver along with TS-115, likely a maker or manufacturer mark.
 
The stone has not been independently gemologically tested and is therefore described as a turquoise-coloured stone rather than confirmed natural turquoise.
