14K Gold Jade Bar Necklace, Green Jade Pendant, 15 Inch Chain

A beautifully simple vintage necklace featuring a polished rectangular green jade bar suspended horizontally from a delicate 14K yellow gold chain.
 
The jade has a lovely natural medium-to-deep green colour with subtle variations and darker inclusions visible within the stone. Its clean geometric shape gives the necklace a surprisingly modern look, despite its vintage character. I especially like how the stone is drilled and connected directly to the chain rather than held in a metal setting—it keeps the jade completely visible and gives the necklace a light, understated appearance.
 
At approximately 15 inches long, this is a shorter necklace designed to sit high around the neckline, as shown in the photos. It would also be lovely layered with longer fine gold chains.
The clasp tag is clearly stamped 14K CHAIN.
