Sterling Silver Sailboat Necklace with 16" Italian Box Chain

A vintage sterling silver sailboat pendant necklace, featuring an openwork sailing boat formed from polished silver wire. The stylized design includes three sails, USA flag, mast and curved hull, giving the pendant a light, dimensional appearance rather than a flat silhouette. The pendant is stamped STER for sterling silver.
 
The pendant measures approximately 23 x 26 mm and hangs from the included 16-inch Italian sterling silver box chain. The fine chain has a smooth, closely linked construction and spring-ring clasp, with the end fitting stamped 925.
