This vintage 10K yellow gold ring features a striking elongated orange carnelian chalcedony cabochon in a dramatic marquise shape.
 
Measuring approximately 20.9mm long, the smoothly polished stone has a rich warm orange colour with beautiful translucency. When illuminated from behind, the chalcedony glows a vivid golden orange, revealing the depth and character within the stone.
 
The long marquise cabochon is secured by six prongs in an elevated open gallery setting. Decorative openings beneath the stone keep the setting light and allow its profile to remain visible, while the slender yellow gold band places all the attention on the unusually shaped gemstone.
