Vintage 10K Gold Garnet Ring · Bemark · Mid Century · Size 6.5

A vintage 10K yellow gold garnet ring by Bemark, featuring an elongated deep red garnet in a clean, architectural setting.
 
The rectangular garnet measures approximately 9.10 x 4.20 mm and is faceted in a geometric step-cut style. Rather than a traditional multi-prong setting, the stone is secured at each short end with broad gold tabs, leaving the long sides largely exposed. Viewed from the side, the raised setting has open triangular galleries that allow light beneath the garnet.
 
The tapered shoulders flow directly into the setting, giving the ring a streamlined geometric profile characteristic of mid-20th-century jewellery. The garnet is a rich wine to burgundy red, becoming noticeably brighter red where light passes through it.
 
The ring weighs 2.3 grams, is a size 6.5, and has been tested as 10K gold. The shank is also stamped 10K Bemark.
 
Based on the construction and styling, we would date this to approximately the 1950s–1960s.
