A vintage 14K white gold diamond solitaire ring with a wonderfully distinctive retro design.
 
A round brilliant-cut diamond sits at the centre in a raised multi-prong illusion-style setting. The diamond measures approximately 2.75 mm across. Broad polished shoulders sweep upward toward the centre diamond, each topped with an applied rectangular white gold panel decorated with fine linear texture. The raised panels create a layered, geometric effect and contrast nicely against the polished shoulders beneath.
 
Rather than the delicate profile of a traditional solitaire, this ring has a substantial 4.8 gram construction and a strong geometric appearance characteristic of jewellery from the 1970s.
