Vintage 9ct Gold Green Spinel Cluster Ring · Floral Setting · Size 6.5

A beautifully detailed 1968 British 9ct yellow gold ring, set with seven vivid green spinels in a circular floral cluster. Each round faceted stone measures approximately 2.1 mm and is individually claw set around the open centre, creating a flower-like arrangement measuring approximately 13.15 mm across.
 
The setting has considerably more detail than a typical cluster ring. Sculpted, textured leaf-like forms rise between the stones, continuing beneath them into an elevated open gallery. Split shoulders support the cluster while keeping the profile light and architectural.
 
The shank carries British hallmarks including 375 for 9ct gold, the 1968 date letter, and the maker's mark CJ Ltd. The gold has also been tested as 9ct.
 
The saturated green spinels against the warm yellow gold give this ring a very distinctive late-1960s look.
