Vintage Rhodochrosite Ring · Sterling Silver · Pink Banded Stone · Size 8.25

A beautiful vintage sterling silver ring set with a large oval rhodochrosite cabochon. The stone displays wonderful natural bands of rose pink, dusty raspberry and creamy white, creating an almost landscape-like pattern across the surface.
 
The substantial oval stone is held in a smooth silver bezel with an intricate pierced gallery beneath. Small architectural details at the shoulders give the setting an especially lovely vintage character.
 
The band is stamped 925 for sterling silver.
 
The rhodochrosite has been polished into a high-domed cabochon that really showcases its naturally occurring banding. Because each piece of rhodochrosite forms differently, the pattern makes this ring completely individual.
 
A substantial statement ring while still being very wearable.
