Vintage Sterling Silver Spiral Ring · Open Wrap Scroll Ring · Size 8

A vintage sterling silver ring with an unusual open wrap design formed from sweeping silver wires and six individually curled spiral motifs.
 
The band separates into three slender parallel ribs on either side, curving upward and inward to form an asymmetrical cluster of raised spirals. The open space between the two sides gives the ring a light, sculptural appearance despite the amount of detail in the design.
 
The ring is stamped 925 and also carries a maker's mark that we have not identified. Its open construction allows for a small amount of adjustment, although we would consider its current size to be approximately US 8.
