Vintage Sterling Silver Turquoise Ring · Southwestern Rope Setting · Size 6

A vintage sterling silver ring set with an oval turquoise cabochon in a classic Southwestern-style setting. The turquoise measures approximately 12.5 x 7.5 mm and has a bright blue-green colour with scattered tan and brown matrix.
 
The stone is held in a smooth silver bezel and surrounded by a substantial twisted-rope border. The band divides into a split shank as it approaches the setting, creating an open, architectural profile from the sides while keeping the ring quite delicate on the hand.
 
The silver has been tested as sterling. The underside shows an older hand-finished appearance and what appears to be a small, partially worn or indistinct mark.
