Vintage Art Deco Rose Cut Paste Fringe Necklace Silver Tone Geometric Jewelry

A striking Art Deco necklace featuring rows of individually set rose-cut paste stones in an intricate silver-tone metal setting. Beautifully geometric in design, the necklace is formed from angular triangular links that lead to a dramatic double-triangle centrepiece and eleven articulated strands of cascading fringe.
 
The rose-cut stones have a wonderfully subdued antique sparkle, with varying shades of clear, smoky grey and warm brown. Some stones have darkened more than others, likely from ageing of the original foil backing, creating the beautifully moody appearance so characteristic of antique paste jewellery.
 
Rather than the uniform brilliance of modern rhinestones, these old rose-cut paste stones have individual character, catching the light softly across their faceted surfaces. The silver-tone metal has developed a deep, naturally aged patina that complements the darker stones beautifully.
