Sterling Silver St. Christopher Medal · 925 Italy Religious Pendant

A small vintage sterling silver St. Christopher medal made in Italy. The oval medal depicts St. Christopher carrying the Christ Child, surrounded by the inscription “SAINT CHRISTOPHER PROTECT US.”
 
Traditionally worn as a patron saint medal for travellers, the pendant has a simple oval form with a long polished bail. The reverse is plain with a softly textured finish and is stamped 925 and ITALY, along with an additional makers mark.
 
Its compact 15 x 11 mm size makes this an easy everyday pendant or a meaningful travel, protection or religious keepsake.
