Vintage Sterling Silver Pelican Pendant · Figural Bird Charm · 925 Silver

A wonderfully characterful vintage sterling silver pelican pendant, beautifully modelled with a long beak, curved body and textured feather detailing.
 
The front has engraved and cut detailing through the wings and tail, giving the little bird surprising dimension for its size. The reverse is stamped 925 for sterling silver.
 
I especially like the slightly stylized, almost folk-art quality of this one. It would make a lovely addition to a charm collection or worn alone as a small statement pendant.
