Antique 9ct Gold Amethyst Seed Pearl Earrings · Victorian Edwardian · Circa 1900
A beautiful pair of antique 9ct gold earrings dating to around the turn of the 20th century, each designed as a tiny flower centred with a rich purple amethyst and surrounded by luminous seed pearls.
Each flower features a round faceted amethyst measuring approximately 5 mm, framed by six creamy seed pearls of approximately 2.5 mm. The pearls sit within individual pointed gold petals, giving the earrings a wonderfully dimensional floral form.
The earrings retain their lovely early shepherd-hook fittings and measure approximately 12 mm across the flower heads. Their petite scale makes them exceptionally wearable, while the deep purple amethysts and pearls give them unmistakable antique character.
A particularly pretty example of late Victorian/Edwardian jewellery and a wonderful pair for someone who loves genuine antique pieces rather than later reproductions.
