Vintage Beau Sterling Silver Fishing Rod Brooch · Creel Basket · Fisherman Pin

A wonderfully detailed vintage sterling silver fishing brooch by Beau, designed as a miniature fishing rod complete with reel, wrapped handle and line guides.
 
Suspended beneath the rod is a dimensional ribbed fishing creel or basket, giving the brooch plenty of character and movement. A fine safety chain runs from the end of the rod to the basket area, while the long pin stem secures the brooch at the back.
 
The reverse of the creel is clearly stamped BEAU STERLING. A charming piece of vintage figural jewellery and a particularly fun find for a fisherman or collector of sporting-themed brooches.
